Some 23 individuals have been saved following a motorboat with 110 illegal migrants aboard capsized early Wednesday within the Bay of Bengal near to Bangladesh's southeaster border with Myanmar, departing some 87 people missing, the official stated.
Lieutenant Colonel Zahid Hasan, commanding officer from the 42nd Battalion from the Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB), told Xinhua "We’ve saved 23 people, a number of them Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar."
